Bio

Hi there! My name is Don Johnston. I’m a Christian, husband, father, grandfather, farmer, financial coach, entrepreneur and personal finance and leadership enthusiast.

I started my professional career in Information Systems in 1985. For the last ten years of my career I served as a project manager. I hold an associate degree in Computer Science from Ivy Tech Community College and a bachelor and MBA degrees from Indiana Wesleyan University.

I retired from my 35 year career in Information Technology in November, 2020. My wife and I live on a small farm in central Indiana with our chickens, sheep, and three miniature donkeys.

I started this blog with a vision of sharing helpful tips and information to those in retirement or those who would like to retire someday. I will do this through sharing stories, opinions, or thoughts from a Christian world view.

I do not sell any kind of financial products, nor do I give specific financial advice. I simply teach and and coach others on finance and leadership topics.

Thank you for reading my blog.
